FWIW the Sun Belt would be a 14 member conference because


it has 2 non-football schools (AR-Little Rock and UT-Arlington). I know AR-LR has explored the possibility of re-starting its football program (disbanded in 1955) and play their home games at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. However, I don't think the school has enough support to implement that plan.

From what I can tell UT-Arlington has no desire to re-start a football program (disbanded in 1985). FWIW UT-Arlington still has Maverick Stadium (capacity 12,500) which is where the football team played its home games. The school currently uses it for soccer and track.
